Beach to Beach // One Year Later

It’s still so weird to me how we really knew nothing about who she was back then - I just remember being so excited to be in the 3rd trimester and getting things ready for her birth. I had no idea of her personality and couldn’t picture her face. Now that she’s here, it feels so obvious that THIS is our baby - I can’t imagine her looking or acting any different.
We haven’t had many opportunities to make special memories during her first year thanks to the pandemic. We were only at the beach for about 30 minutes, but I really cherish it since it’s one of just a handful of special “firsts” & memories we’ve made outside our living room.
Motherhood has been hard in so many ways and postpartum has given me a run for my money, but these little experiences & pictures keep me grounded when I feel overwhelmed.
